Marlene attended Kenwood Baptist Church and worked with Assoc. Pastor Ken Atchison within their Lay Pastor Program. When the Miami Baptist Association made the decision to plant a church in the Deerfield Twp. area, Marlene was asked to chair the Steering Committee for the new church, later named KingsWay Community Church. Ken Atchison became the founding Pastor. In late 1994 Marlene began her duties as Office Administrator for KW. Marlene is married to her high school sweetheart, has two grown sons and daughters-in-law, 5 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling to see God's creation, reading, gardening, decorating, walking and spending time with her family.
